Building on the success of Stage 1, which collected hundreds of books from generous donors, Stage 2 focuses on continuing the effort to provide a diverse and up-to-date selection of books that will inspire students, encourage independent reading, and support their educational journey.

The JIS Library plays a vital role in supporting the school’s mission to encourage a lifelong love of reading and to provide students with the resources they need to excel academically. Stage 2 of this drive will help enhance the library’s collection, offering students access to more books that cater to a variety of reading levels and interests, from early readers to high school students.

How You Can Participate in Stage 2

Contributing to Stage 2 of the Book Donation Drive is simple:

1. Check Your Bookshelves: Look through your collection and donate any books that are appropriate for school-age readers. The library is seeking books across all genres and reading levels, including fiction, non-fiction, educational books, and more.
2. Drop Off Your Donations: Bring your gently used or new books to the designated collection points at James International School. Donations will be accepted throughout 2025 during regular school hours.
