James International School Marks Athletics Day with a 1 km Run as Part of the FIT India Movement
Yesterday, May 7, 2025, James International School organized a 1 km run in celebration of International Athletics Day. Held under the FIT India Movement initiative (which JIS joined in 2023), the event featured only teachers and students—no relays, no yoga sessions—united in promoting an active, healthy lifestyle.

About the FIT India Movement

Mission: To encourage regular physical activity and balanced nutrition

JIS Involvement: Since 2023, the school has periodically integrated fitness activities—such as running drills and hydration stations—into its academic program under this government-backed campaign.
