Biography of Ermina Carmen Raescu
Ermina Carmen Raescu is a distinguished leader in education and international relations, currently serving as the Director of Foreign Affairs at James International School in E Village, India. Known for her innovative approach, she integrates self-defense training, such as judo and karate, into the curriculum, fostering confidence and resilience in students.
Ermina boasts an impressive academic background, with studies in pedagogy, music, and engineering, culminating in a Master’s degree in Engineering and Environmental Engineering. Her extensive professional experience includes roles such as President of the Woman Entrepreneurs Council IIU WEC, Country Director of IIU Romania, Board Member of IIU, and Education Expert for the Ministry of Education in Romania, where she oversees school documentation and compliance. She has also served as a trainer for the Ministry of Education, a university student mentor at the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology, and Philosophy at West University Timisoara, and as the Head of the Teacher Pedagogical Circle at the School Inspectorate of the Ministry of Education. Ermina is recognized as an expert in Freinet Pedagogy, the Abel Method, inclusive education, and curriculum coordination. She has coordinated numerous European and international projects and has served as the Quality Assurance Coordinator for educational institutions. Additionally, she is an authorized responsible for combating violence and bullying in Romanian schools and is a certified French teacher.
In addition to her role at James International School, Ermina is a core member of the Swarna Bharat Parivaar Trust, where she focuses on rural development and supports underprivileged students, women, and families. She also plays a pivotal role in Future Ratna Preschool, dedicated to advancing early childhood education and care on a global scale.
