E Village, Aluwamai Kunda, Uttar Pradesh | 21st April 2025 — In the heart of rural India, E Village, an initiative by the Swarna Bharat Parivaar Trust, is emerging as a powerful example of women-led rural transformation. By placing women at the forefront of development, E Village is not just bridging gender gaps — it is building resilient, self-sufficient communities from the ground up.

Women Leading Rural Renaissance
At E Village, women are stepping into roles as entrepreneurs, educators, innovators, and community leaders. With initiatives like Mahila Udyami, women are receiving hands-on training in micro-enterprise development, sustainable practices, and digital skills — enabling them to run their own businesses, support their families, and drive local economies.
These efforts are supported and guided by Adv. Anju Pandit and Archna Pandey, two passionate changemakers leading transformative programs focused on creating economic independence, legal awareness, and leadership pathways for rural women.
“When a rural woman is empowered, an entire generation is transformed,” said Adv. Anju Pandit. “We are not just teaching skills — we are unlocking the potential of an entire nation.”
“E Village is proof that given the right support, rural women rise to become innovators, leaders, and mentors for others,” added Archna Pandey.
Education as the Gateway to Equality
A cornerstone of women empowerment in E Village is access to free, quality education. The James International School, founded within the village, provides 21st-century learning to over 400 children, with a dedicated focus on girls’ education and empowerment.
Girls are being equipped with the tools to think critically, speak confidently, and dream globally — challenging generational barriers and becoming voices of change in their families and communities.
Building Inclusive, Gender-Equal Communities
E Village incorporates SDG 5: Gender Equality at every level of its design. From women-led governance bodies to entrepreneurship networks, women are no longer just participants — they are decision-makers shaping the village’s future.
Workshops, leadership forums, and mentorship programs ensure continuous support, while the growing community of empowered women now serves as a replicable model for rural development across India and beyond.
“Empowerment begins when we shift from sympathy to solidarity — when women are not helped but heard, not saved but supported,” said Dr. Peeyush Pandit, Founder of E Village.
Swarna Bharat Parivaar Trust is a global non-profit organization working across 50+ countries, dedicated to education, rural innovation, women empowerment, and sustainable development. E Village is its flagship project — a living embodiment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in action.
